Supper clean-up time results in much prompting (via mom), correcting (via mom), giggles (via Dad), pranks (via boys) and discussing (via boys).
Admittedly, many of evenings I would rather everyone disappear from the kitchen!
How my soul rejoices in quietness! :)
I digress.
So, last evening as Wade was drying dishes and Wyatt was brooming, he says, "I just don't feel right about calling tomorrow Good Friday."
"Yeah," says Wade, "don't people know that Jesus had to suffer an awful death! It's crazy they would call it good."
I listen.
"Well," says Wyatt, "I understand that it is a good day for Christians, but rather than call it good we should be sorrowful for our sins. Jesus said he was exceeding sorrowful, even unto death."
Sighing Wade says, "Yep, let's never say Good Friday again but call it Sad or Sorrowful Friday from now on."
So today on Sorrowful Friday we celebrate redemption from sin. We have a Savior who suffered, died, arose and is ALIVE today!
Happy Easter!
This is the day
that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it!

Fabulous Three!
Her birthday finally arrived!
THREE!
And a terrific three she is!
Miss Willow Mae has been a game changer around here.
She's a one of a kind.
A true:
baby mindin', ninja lovin', Mama helpin', gun carrin', style lovin', book readin', pink lovin',
chocolate adorin', fight makin', fit throwin', onion hatin' and hug givin' kinda lady.
A miracle.
And we wouldn't trade her for the world!
Picking the type of cake you want is a big deal around here, but, she couldn't decide!
It all sounded SO good.....so long as it was chocolate!
Close your eyes, here comes the cake!
It did not disappoint!
"Daddy, daddy, Mom even bought twinkle wrap-up for my presents."
And now, they have matching jammies!

If you are a little leprechaun,
beware!
This could be a very dangerous place for you!
In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Wyatt's goal was to capture a leprechaun.
It was a school project.
Thankfully Dad assisted with his mater plans.
He has yet to trap one BUT there has been evidence that the little buddy has been around!
Periodically the chocolate gold coins are nibbled on.... STRANGE!
Surely he must be the most nimble, quick and hungry creature around!
***note***
my breath smells nothing like chocolate!

When spring seems slow,
we still go!
Babies and all.
There is something about the fresh spring air that is
energizing,
fulfilling,
sweet,
and
magical!

Bloody Boy brought to you by FOX News
If you asked them, its all Mom's fault!
I told them they had to go outside and play on the icy driveway.
I may have suggested it but as the old adage goes,
it is all fun and games until someone gets hurt!
As we were dealing with the loose tooth and bloody mouth Wade captured this.
Due to the graphic nature of this video.....consider yourself warned.

Tell Me About......
"Mom, tell me about when I was a baby in your tummy." inquires Willow.
So, I tell her.
Happily I recount the wonderful, beautiful miracle. I tell her about how it was SO fun to have a little baby growing bigger and bigger in my belly each day. I tell her about the little flutters that turned into big kicks as she grew. I tell her about the anticipation. The prayers. I recount how excited her Daddy and brothers were to have a baby coming. I told her about the boys and how they whispered and talked to her through my belly button, teaching her and telling her all sorts of secrets.
Smiling she exclaimed, "Oh Mom, that's is so precious! And just think, now I'm all grownup having babies of my own."
That sweet little baby that somehow is now a grownup little lady will be a whopping 3! this month.

His teeth,
Keep falling out!
I may be partial but there is little cuter than a toothless grin.
He is definately keeping the tooth fairy in business.
To clarify:
I'm talking about Wyatt!
However, Jeremy would be darling toothless too!
After all, it's only a matter of time, right!?
*giggle, giggle*
