Gpa's Farm

Going to Iowa is always a much anticipated event!
After all, we have some really great cousins AND our Grandpa and Grandmas live there!
Grandma Z (or Great Grandma Turtle) was going to be celebrating her 96th birthday so, with a 36 week pregnant mama we headed west!
We were able to spend an extra day "working" on Grandpa's farm....poor Grandpa!
He still has much training to do :)
 Such a fun swing!

And these goofy helmets?!  I don't know where they came from......

They really did work some, but who picked up all of these rocks?
Where were we then?
Seriously?!  Something I will never be able to grasp is how rocks grow and multiply....  After all, I picked up TONS of rock as a kid!

And this sweet baby made his grand appearance into the world.  Maybe just cause he knew we'd get to meet?
Congratulations Steve, Angela and family!

One thing about all the rock work....An Indian can find himself some great stone, and then maybe convince Dad and Gpa to fashion a tomahawk.
So much work has been done on this tailgate!

 Cousins.
 A more accurate depiction......

Our visit was not finished, but that must have been where the camera was put away.  We did enjoy a great party with Great Grandma as well as a host of family.
We also got to see Grandpa and Grandma Trucker and romp with more cousins.  Needless to say, we were a tired bunch as we headed home to get ready for school!
