It was hot, it was buggy, it was itchy
and W2 were whining incessantly!
But the beans still need to be picked.
And I was insistent that they would help.
It was a flashback to my childhood.
Except I had to be the Mom urging the children to keep picking....
I guess there are lots of moments in motherhood and life when you hear yourself speaking and just cringe.
It is in those moments when you know you have just crossed the line said or did what you thought promised yourself you would never do.
After all, life lessons are taught this way......right!?
Needless to say, we had a lot more fun snapping and blanching our crop!
