Frustrated with his most recent criminal (Dad), angrily Wyatt informed the crook, “You are on my LAST hay bale and I mean it!” Confused the criminal persisted and again the sheriff told him, “You are on my LAST hay bale Sir!”
It finally clicked with the wily cattle rustler…..what Wyatt was trying to say is, “That is the last straw.”
Heaven knows where he has heard that!
However, I guess that is what happens when you mix a farmer, cowboy, sheriff, police officer and detective into one.
