A Masked Bandit

It was a masked bandit that was after and in our tomatoes....my provider/hunter/gatherer men were sure. Clawing, nibbling and chomping away at every red ripe juicy tomato on the vine. Arrrggggh! Crazy creatures!

The Action Plan:
1. Identify the problem.
Tomato crop in great danger
2. Agree on a strategy and direction.
Trap and rid the garden of the varmint.
3. Identify required tasks and prioritize them
Bait trap
Set trap
Check trap
Empty trap
4. Execute against the goals
Night #1: Trap set with rotting bait (sorry it was)
Robbed blind in the morning
Night #2: Trap set with more bait only this time in a can
Robbed blind in the morning
Night #3: Trap set. Can tied with wire to the trap
Robbed blind
Night #4: Trap set. No change
Again, robbed blind.
5. Make necessary course corrections when unknown obstacles appear.
Night #5: Hypothesize how mangy little creature is escaping.
Correct problem and weigh down trap.
Bait.
6. Communicate achievement
Trapped the masked bandit.







This mean little fellow wasn't alone. His partner was captured a couple of nights later. (on the first try)
