Regarding the Easter story,
Wade thoughtfully said, "Mom, why did they put a stone in Jesus' toe?"
Irritated Wyatt answered, "NO Wade!, they put a stone in the hole of the toon, silly. They had to make sure no one would steal him or that no animals or bugs would get to Jesus' body! And then they had the mean soldiers there, member?"
"Oh yeah," says Wade. "then Jesus escaped....like from jail....and the stone rolled away down the hill"
*sigh*
toe....toon....an escapee from jail....a stone rolling down the hill
Either way,
He is alive in our hearts and souls! And we are putting the pieces together of the Resurrection story. Praise God!
