IOWA, and that's where the tall corn grows!
Call me a fool but I am sucker for Our Iowa Magazine. It celebrates all that is wonderful about Iowa! :) Yes, yes.....it is sorta like the old saying, "You can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl." So you see, that is me. An old fashion country Iowa girl.
Blah, blah...you say? what is your point? So, Our Iowa sent 6 Brazilian corn seeds with the spring issue and there has been a corn growing contest. I was disqualified because well, I don't live in Iowa BUT nevertheless I planted my seeds (much to my hubs chagrin). The harvest is complete and my measurements are in.....13 feet 11 3/4 inches.
